3. Make the Creamy Noodle Mixture

In a bowl, combine sour cream and cottage cheese.
Fold in the cooked noodles until evenly coated.

4. Assemble the Casserole

In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish:

Spread half of the noodle mixture.
Add half of the beef mixture.
Repeat layers.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.

5. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and the cheese is melted.
Let stand for 5–10 minutes before serving.
